Adamawa State University (ADSU), located in Mubi, Nigeria, was established in 2002. Its mission is to produce graduates of the highest moral and academic excellence, focusing on agriculture and ICT. Undergraduate Admission Requirement

O'Level:

Candidates need five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. 

UTME:

A minimum score of 140 in the UTME is required. 

Direct Entry:

Candidates seeking direct entry admission need to have qualifications like a first degree (not less than third class) from a recognized university or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant field from a Polytechnic. 

Screening:

Candidates must attend a screening exercise, presenting original copies of their relevant credentials (O'Level results, JAMB result/acknowledgment slip, A' level results, diploma or IJMB - as applicable

Postgraduate Admission Requirments

  1. M.Sc.(Academic Master’s Degree Programmes)
    Possession of First Degree of Adamawa State University or any recognized 
    University in relevant area with Second Class Lower (2/2) and above.
    Higher National Diploma (HND) at Upper Credit with Postgraduate Diploma 
    at Distinction level
    Third Class Degree with Postgraduate Diploma at Credit level and above.
  2. Professional Master Degree Programme
    Possession of First Degree of Adamawa State University or any recognized 
    University in related area with minimum of Second Class Lower 2/2
    Holders of HND at Upper Credit with Professional Qualification such as 
    ACCA, CIB, ANAN, ICAN etc. will be considered in Departments of 
    Accounting and Business Administration.
    An applicant with a Third Class Degree or HND holder with Postgraduate 
    University Diploma at Distinction or Upper Credit Level.
  3. Ph.D Programmes
    Possession of Academic Masters, Degree in related field with a minimum

Eligibility and Requirements

  • UTME Candidates: Candidates must have a JAMB score of 140 or above. 
  • Direct Entry Candidates: Candidates must possess relevant A-level qualifications or equivalent. 
  • General Requirements: Candidates should have the required number of O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.

  • Complete the Online Form: Fill in the required personal and academic information accurately. 
  • Pay the Screening Fee: Pay the designated screening fee through the online payment platform. 
  • Upload Required Documents: Scan and upload copies of your JAMB result/DE slip, O'Level or A'Level results, and other relevant documents. 

Screening Exercise

  • Attend the Screening: Participate in the physical screening exercise at the designated venue. 
  • Present Original Documents: Bring the original copies of your O'Level, A'Level, JAMB result, and other relevant documents, as well as photocopies. 
  • Submit Photocopies: Submit the required photocopies of your credentials.

Since 2002 when Adamawa State University, Mubi was established, the Institution has been striving to meet the stated goal of providing “Education for Development”. However, the University is concerned with its commitment to the immediate environment, mindful of our position as a tertiary institution of learning with universal responsibilities. We are therefore working towards establishing a world class University that addresses our local problems within the context of intellectualism that is broad based and international in outlook.
