The Mission of the University is the production of graduates of the highest standards in all fields of study. The graduates shall be trained and oriented to utilize modern technological and management tools for societal development.
ADSU is one of the most affordable public universities in Nigeria, offering high-quality instruction at a lower cost than many private institutions. Tuition typically ranges from 65,000 to 98,000 naira depending on year and program.
ADSU provides well-equipped labs, classrooms, libraries, reliable ICT resources, and student accommodation. The campus in Mubi also offers a peaceful and scenic environment at the foot of the Mandara Mountains.

O'Level:
Candidates need five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
UTME:
A minimum score of 140 in the UTME is required.
Direct Entry:
Candidates seeking direct entry admission need to have qualifications like a first degree (not less than third class) from a recognized university or a Higher National Diploma (HND) with a minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant field from a Polytechnic.
Screening:
Candidates must attend a screening exercise, presenting original copies of their relevant credentials (O'Level results, JAMB result/acknowledgment slip, A' level results, diploma or IJMB - as applicable
