His professional qualifications include Member Nigerian Institute of Management, Fellow Certified Marketing Communications Institute, Honorary Senior Member Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Fellow of the Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and Fellow of the Institute of Fraud Examiners.
He rose to the peak position of Chief Lecturer in 1992 in Kano State Polytechnic. He later worked as Managing Director of two mortgage banks at different times in Lagos. He was in private practise as Managing Consultant of Starlink Associates, a Management and Tax consulting firm in Lagos.
Since moving back to full academics in the university system, he has taught in Adeleke University Ede, University of Ilorin and Babcock University, among others. He has served at different times as Head of Department and as Dean of Faculty. He is currently an External Examiner to eight (8) universities in Nigeria, and one (1) university in the United Kingdom. He is the immediate past Dean of Babcock Business School, and Director of Babcock Centre for Executive Development. He recently took up a new appointment as the Deputy Vice Chancellor, and Senior Vice President of Adeleke University in Ede. A widely travelled man, Prof Solomon Adebola has also published extensively in reputable national and international journals. A loving family man, his greatest joy is in knowing Jesus Christ as Saviour, and being able to serve in His vineyard.
She obtained a Ph.D. in Information Resources Management from Babcock University in 2012. A certified librarian (CLN), Dr. Onuoha is experienced, having worked at the University Library of Babcock University for nine years before moving to the Department of Information Resources Management as a full-time lecturer.
Currently, she serves as the University Librarian, Adeleke University. She has published numerous articles in national and international peer review journals, contributed several chapters in edited books and co-authored a textbook. She is happily married with children
Professor Onuoha joined the employment of the Adventist Seminary of West Africa (now Babcock University) in 1995 as an Assistant Professor and was appointed the Business Manager in 1998. He became the pioneer Vice President – Finance/University Bursar in 1999, a position he occupied until 2015, a culmination of three and a half terms of meritorious service. His tenure as Vice President – Finance midwifed the rapid and commendable development of that institution in record time.
On January 1, 2015, he was promoted to the academic ranking of Professor of Accounting and Management Sciences following his successful reassessment by the Babcock University’s Appointments and Promotion Committee. Between August 2016 and July 2020, Prof Onuoha served as Head of Department of Accounting, Adeleke University, Ede (on sabbatical) and later as a Professor in the Department of Accounting, Babcock University, Ilishan Remo. On August 1, 2020, he was appointed Senior Vice President/Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Adeleke University. His current research direction is on taxation and sustainable development of Nigeria.
Prof Onuoha is a prolific writer and an inspirational speaker. Besides his academic publications, his widely read general-interest books include The Hand of God, Money Habits Grandma Taught Me and The Art of Positive Living. He is a husband of one wife, and father of four. His daily maxim at work is: “Effort is nothing; Result is everything.” As a Christian educator, Prof Onuoha is guided by the Bible text: “Commit thy works unto the Lord and they thoughts shall be established” (Proverbs 16:3).
Professor Onuoha enjoys listening to Christian music and reading biographies of self-made individuals.
Pastor Efuntade was born in Ile-Ife, Osun State. He had his primary and secondary education in Ogun State and obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Estate Management (1996/97 session) from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. His Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Pastoral Ministry was from Babcock University, Ilishan Remo. He later obtained a Masters degree in Pastoral Ministry from La Sierra University, California, United States of America. He obtained his Doctor of Theology degree in Missiology from the University of South Africa, Pretoria, South Africa in 2019.
A seasoned Administrator and widely travelled, he was passionately engaged in church ministry while working in the Oil and Gas industry, at the Star-AP Joint Venture. He also worked in the Real Estate industry and other service sectors before he finally heeded the call to fulltime ministry in 2007. He served as an Assistant Pastor at Victory Sanctuary Seventh Day Adventist Church, Lekki, Lagos and has had the privilege of working and ministering in different fora within and outside Nigeria. Olugbenga Efuntade has facilitated seminars on marriage, community organizing/social justice and discovering purpose. He served as a member of faculty at the Victory Sanctuary Leadership Training Institute. He has pastored and mentored teenagers/young adults and has been invited severally as a speaker, facilitator, presenter or counsellor in seminars involving personal growth and development. He is passionate about impacting knowledge and growing leaders. Olugbenga Efuntade is an ardent believer of social justice and maximizing potential.
He has presented papers both locally and internationally, authored books, published papers and contributed to anthologies.
He is happily married to Gbonjubola and they are blessed with two wonderful children.
