Admission
Undergraduate Admission Requirement
- Applicants are required to get a minimum JAMB Score of160 or above in UTME.
- Applicants are required to have at least 5 credit passes including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings in their O'Level Results(WAEC, NECO, NABTEB).
- Applicants should ensure that their JAMB courses must match the chosen course (e.g., Engineering requires Maths, Physics, Chemistry).
- All candidates must participate and pass the university’s screening.
- Direct Entry (DE) students must have A-level, OND, NCE, JUPEB or equivalent in related field + 5 O'Level credits.
- All applicants should apply online through www.bellsuniversity.edu.ng, pay application fee, and upload required documents.

Applicants will need to submit the following;
- 2 Copies of JAMB result
- 2 Copies of O’level result
- 2 Passport photographs
- 2 Reference letters (one from Church or Mosque and one from Secondary School)
- A’ level or JUPEB result for Direct Entry student
- Copy of acknowledgement for WAEC/NECO digital certificate sharing
- Copy of Application form
- Copy of birth certificate
- JAMB Admission letter (Institution copy)
- Receipt of Application form – Five thousand, five hundred naira (N5,500.00)
Postgraduate Admission Requirments
Basic O’Level Requirement
- All applicants must have five (5) credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)
- Applicants are required to have a first degree (minimum Third Class) or HND with at least Lower Credit in a relevant field.
- Candidates with Third Class degrees may need a PGD to qualify for Master’s admission.
Master’s Degree (M.Sc, M.Tech, MBA, M.Eng)
- Applicant are required to have a Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Lower Division in a relevant discipline.
- In some cases, Third Class degree holders with a relevant PGD and acceptable performance may also qualify.
- MBA applicants may require professional qualifications (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CIPM) or post-qualification managerial experience.
Supporting Documents
- Scanned copies of degree certificate(s), academic transcript(s), passport photo, valid means of ID.
- Research proposal or concept paper for M.Phil/Ph.D applicants.
- Letters of recommendation may be required.
How To Apply For Admission
Step 1: Visit the Admission website
- Applicants are to click on "Begin Application", under the General Menu and then supply your UTME Registration Number on the next page.
Step 2: Make Payment
- After your details(i.e. UTME Reg. No, Fullname) appear on the next page, you can then proceed to make your payment. However proceeding to make payment means that you affirm that the details supplied are correct. Nevertheless, you are still allowed to confirm your details once more before you make payment.
- Before making a payment, make sure your details are correct. Any successful payment CANNOT be REFUNDED.
Step 3: Create your Account
- After a successful payment, you will then proceed to create an account. You will be asked to supply a password, an email address and your phone number.
Step 4: Fill in your information
- After successfully creating an account, you can then proceed to fill the application form by logging in to your account.
- Please note, after successfully creating an account, you should always use the "Returning Applicant" link under the General Menu. However, until you successfully make a payment and create an account as stated above, you are to use the "Begin Application" link instead.
- As a "Returning Applicant", you will be able to fill the Application Form, and then complete the application process.
Step 5: Submit your Application
- After completion of the application process, you will be able to print out your Application Form and Payment Receipt.
- Please note, after submission of your Application Form, you will be unable to change the Passport Photograph uploaded and other details supplied. Hence confirm your details and make sure the passport uploaded is yours before you attempt to submit your Application form.
Step 6: Print your Admission Letter
- You are to return to the same site to check your Admission Status and print your Admission letter.

Bells University of Technology, Ota, is Nigeria’s First Private University of Technology. It was granted operational license on 9th June, 2005 and commenced operation on 1st July, 2005.
The idea of Bells University of Technology was conceived following the desire of the Bells Educational Foundation to establish a unique university where the good foundation given to products of its Secondary School and other Secondary Schools could be built upon.

In order to realize its dream, the Bells Educational Foundation obtained an application form for the establishment of a Private University from the National Universities Commission (NUC) on 10th January, 2002 and submitted the application forms on 10th November, 2004.
