Research Center: Bond University is home to a range of research centres and institutes that are recognised for their findings across a number of disciplines, including evidence-based healthcare, data analytics, construction management, legal professional education, tactical response and biomedicine. Collectively, these disciplines contribute to Bond’s vibrant research culture and the University’s overall function as an institution for learning, discovery, scholarship and invention.

 

Library: The John & Alison Kearney Library (Main Library) provides customer-focused, quality, innovative services, information resources and a selection of active learning zones to suit groups and individual silent study needs.

 

Accommodation: Bond University Student Housing caters for both domestic and international students. You may be far from home but you will never feel alone, surrounded by fellow students who are also getting used to life away from their families. Bond offers a variety of accommodation options for living on campus from single and share rooms to flats. Rates include electricity, water, laundry facilities, wireless internet and weekly cleaning. Find the options, descriptions and rates below. We offer a range of housing options on campus which includes a compulsory dining plan. This makes it easy to live and study on the Gold Coast. You have the choice of private or shared rooms, sharing all the fun of student housing life with your fellow roommates.

 

Dining Option: For those students residing on campus, a dining plan is compulsory. This flexible scheme allows you to use your Student ID card as a dining card in our Bond food and dining outlets at any time of the day that suits you. You can grab something light and easy when you are busy and something substantial when you have more time. You can even pick up essentials at the Bond Express convenience store. The only thing you can’t purchase with your dining credits is alcohol.

He has won numerous awards for his teaching including a National Citation for Outstanding Contribution to Student Learning, and he is the author of several leading textbooks.     Professor James is also the Co-Director of the Bond University Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLE), Co-Chair of the Council of Australian Law Deans, President of the Australasian Animal Law Teachers Association (AALTRA), Immediate Past Chair of the Australasian Law Academics Association (ALAA) and a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law.

On 15 May, 1989, Bond University welcomed the first cohort of 322 students to its brand new, state-of-the-art campus on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
