With a background in creative industries and pedagogy for social entrepreneurship and innovation before moving into management roles, Professor Honour has held a range of senior leadership positions in the higher education sector across over 25 years, working at four post-92 universities.
Their origins can be traced to the early 20th century, with the foundation of Bournemouth Municipal College. Their modern history began in the early 1970s with the creation of the Bournemouth College of Technology and the construction of new buildings on the largest farm in Talbot Village – the area now known as their Talbot Campus.
