Undergraduate Admission Requirement

To qualify, you must meet the following:

  1. You must apply through either UTME or Direct Entry.
  2. Your UTME score must be at least 160.
  3. If Caleb University wasn’t your first choice, you can still apply. But you’ll need to do a change of institution at any approved JAMB CBT centre.
  4. A minimum of 5 credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects at the SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO level, obtained in not more than two sittings

Postgraduate Admission Requirments

  1. If you are a graduate of CALEB University and you are proposing to enroll for Masters, MPhil or Ph.D. programme, you should enclose 
  2. Candidates for admission to a higher degree programme shall normally be graduates of Caleb University or of other institutions recognized by Caleb University Senate.
  3. All candidates without previous higher degrees in the relevant discipline shall be admitted in the first instance to the Masters degree programme.
  4. Candidates who do not have a degree in the specific discipline for which admission may be required to acquire a pre-qualifying qualification.
  5. Candidates who hold a higher degree of this university and other recognized institutions may be considered for direct or provisional admission to the MPhil/Ph.D. or Ph.D. programme based on the cumulative grade point average.

How To Apply For Admission

Step 1: Choose Your Application Method

You can apply in one of two ways:

  • Physical Application: Obtain the form from the University or approved agents. 
  • Online Payment: Pay the application fee directly through the portal.

Step 2: Access the Admission Portal

Step 3: Pay the Application/Processing Fee

  • If using Application Code, you will still need to pay a processing fee of N1,750.
  • If you select Online Payment, the total fee is N11,750 (N10,000 application + N1,750 processing).
    Use a MasterCard, Visa, Verve, or bank payment slip. Be sure to avoid refreshing the page during payment.

Step 4: Create Your Account

  • If you paid first, you will create an account afterward using the same email address.
  • If you have an application code, you enter it during account creation.
    Your email will become your login ID. Use the same email consistently throughout the process.

Step 5: Fill the Application Form

  • Select the programme you’re applying for (e.g., undergraduate, postgraduate).
  • Complete all required sections: personal details, academic history, course choice, etc.
  • Upload your passport photograph

Step 6: Attach Required Documents

  • Required attachments include:
  • Birth Certificate
  • SSCE/O’Level Results (WAEC/NECO) with at least five credits
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • JUPEB result (if applicable)
  • HND/ND or other degree certificate for postgraduate applicants or Direct Entry
    Direct Entry candidates also need their JAMB DE Slip, NYSC certificate, and previous certificates/transcripts
    Transfer students: Official transcript and JAMB result

  • Once submitted, download or print a copy of the completed application form for your records.

His visionary leadership at Caleb University commenced in the year 2021 when he assumed the role of Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation, Strategy, and Administration), where his transformational leadership has birthed key achievements including successful strategic planning and institutional transformation, designing and implementing the 2022–2026 Strategic Plan, achieving 71.2% success by 2024 and elevating Caleb University’s national ranking from 66th to 18th, with a 57% increase in institutional visibility.

A multiple grant award-winning researcher, a born leader, serial winner and a child of fate, Professor Asikhia has won the SME and Poverty Alleviation grant of the University of South Africa twice (2014 and 2015), funded to the tune of $100,000, thus influencing national and international policies.
