Daegu University has two campuses. The original campus is located in downtown Daegu and the main campus is in Gyeongsan. While there are still some facilities at the Daegu campus, most colleges and faculty moved to the Gyeongsan campus in 1981. The Office of International Affairs is located in Gyeongsan campus.

Daegu University is a private South Korean university in Gyeongsan City known for special education, rehabilitation, and social welfare. Founded in 1956 by Reverend Rhee Young-shik, it began as an institution for individuals with disabilities. It operates on the motto "Love, Light, and Freedom," aiming to foster philanthropy, civil leadership, and equal opportunity.

  • International students who have graduated or are graduate candidates from high school and who have passed either Daegu University's undergraduate entrance exam or TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean) at Level 3 or greater.

  • Housing: Daegu University offers reasonably-priced dormitory accommodations for all international students wishing to stay on campus. Daegu University has Biho dormitory facilities for 3,700 students. It also operates a separate “International Houses” which can accommodate approximately 300 international students. Dormitory rooms are fully furnished and include free high-speed Internet access. There are also a host of other facilities available such as cafeterias, laundry rooms, a convenience store, a gym, table tennis facilities and more.
