Undergraduate Admission Requirement

General Requirements 

  1. The minimum entry requirements for admission into Landmark University are credit passes in 5 subjects at the SSCE/GCE O’ Level/NECO/NABTEB or its equivalent obtained at not more than two sittings. The subjects passed must include English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to the proposed course of study.
  2. Candidates are also to note that, there are other requirements that may be specific to a College and/or a Programme.

UTME Prerequisites 

Candidates applying to Landmark University should note the following:

  1. Candidates must have sat for the current year Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and attained the prescribed cut-off marks as a statutory requirement for entry into Nigerian Universities.
  2. Applicants are strongly advised to ensure that their UTME subject combination qualifies them for their chosen programme in Landmark University.
  3. Candidates who did not choose Landmark University in the current year UTME are free to apply for admission into the University
  4. In addition to the above, Landmark University conducts a Post UTME Screening Exercise for all candidates seeking admission into the University.  Applicants may however, not be admitted without fulfilling the demands of the screening exercise.

  1. Original and photocopied documents of O'Level results with at least 5 credits (including Mathematics, English, and Economics)

Postgraduate Admission Requirments

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

  1. O’Level: Five (5) credit passes, including English, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects.
  2. Degree: Minimum of a Third Class Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or a Pass HND (Higher National Diploma) in an appropriate field.
  3. Additional: Must submit academic transcripts and two academic referee recommendations.

Master’s Degree 

Undergraduate Degree:

  1. Second Class Lower (2:2) Honours in a relevant field, or
  2. A Third Class Bachelor’s degree plus a good PGD qualification, or
  3. HND with a Merit grade plus a PGD.
  4. Supporting Documents: Transcripts and two academic references required from prior tertiary institutions.

Doctoral Degrees (Ph.D. and M.Phil/Ph.D.)

  1. Direct Ph.D. Entry: Must hold a relevant Master’s degree with a minimum average of 60% (CGPA 3.5).
  2. M.Phil/Ph.D. Track: Master’s degree average between 55% – 59% qualifies for this route.
  3. M.Phil Only: Master’s degree with average between 50% – 54% allows enrollment in M.Phil programmes.

How To Apply For Admission

Undergraduate Admission 

  1. Click on the Nigerian Students Application Form under the Application Form Link to begin your application. This will lead you to a page where you are required to enter your your personal details, and UTME No.
  2. Upon successful submission of this form, you will be redirected to the payment page where you are expected to make a payment of ?12,000 application fee along with a processing charge depending on your selected payment channel.
  3. If you have already filled in your UTME No but were unable to complete the payment process instantly, please "click here" to retry the payment.
  4. After completing the payment, the passcode required to log in and complete your application will be sent to both the email address and phone number you provided
  5. You are expected to return to our Nigerian admission application portal via https://admportal.lmu.edu.ng/login, click on "Complete Application", and log in using your UTME No and the passcode sent to you after payment. Upload your passport photograph (which should be in JPG format and not more than 200KB in size), and proceed to complete the rest of the application.
  6. After completing the application form, you are expected to submit and print out copies of the completed form, which contain the details supplied by you and your form number. Further information will be communicated to you via the email address you provided.
  7. After the submission of the application form, a message will pop-up notifying you to re-log in to the admission portal to choose your preferred screening date.

Postgraduate Application 

Entry Requirement: To start the application process, your student copy or official transcript with the accepted CGPA must be available. The entry requirements for each programme are dependent upon its subject matter which is found on "www.https://spgs.lmu.edu.ng" (general and specific requirement).

How to apply

  • Visit "www.https://spgs.lmu.edu.ng" to purchase the application form. 
  • Check on the last item on the green ribbon and click the APPLY button. 
  • You will be taken to our secure online application system and be asked to click below the National Student. Input your details and make payment with your ATM card details. 
  • Thereafter, you will be sent a passcode with which you will log in.
  • Then, visit https://admportal.lmu.edu.ng/pg-login and enter your application number (App No) and passcode. 
  • Click on login to access your application form and fill your details in. 
  • Also, upload your documents where applicable following the instructions on the sizes of documents allowed.
  • Hence, don’t worry if you cannot complete your application in one sitting. The system saves your information as you go and until you are ready to submit your application). As you complete each section, the Application Checklist will be updated to update your progress.

Professor Ajanaku attended Ibadan Municipal Government Primary School at NTC Road, Ibadan. He commenced his secondary school education at Ijebu-Jesa Grammar School, Ijebu-Jesa and later moved to Ibadan Grammar School, Molete where he completed his Secondary School education in the year 1985 and had his WAEC result from the same school.

He received his B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, respectively. He won the Outstanding Lecturer Award for 2008/2009 academic session and also the Exceptional Lectu
