Trains from surrounding counties are approx. £12 and take 30 minutes, or if you’re travelling by bus or tube, it’s just £5 a day with a TfL student travel card. It’s also just a 10 minute from London Waterloo and 15 minutes from London Bridge, two of the capital biggest stations.

Library: There are over a quarter million books for you to sink your teeth into – but that’s not all. We have Macs and PCs available to access 60,000 electronic journals and tonnes of specialist software. Everything you could ever want to know is at your fingertips.
Laboratory: Robotics Lab, our DARLAB uses an industrial grade robotic setup to develop advanced manufacturing solutions for research and academic purposes. The future is now – and it’s in south London.
Accommodation: We have three halls of residence with over 1,000 single bedrooms to rent, all within a ten-minute walk to campus, and it’s no secret that our accommodation is pretty much unbeatable on price. We offer places to live far below market price in the capital, and with rents starting from £175 a week and utility bills such as so gas, water, electricity, and Wi-Fi are also included, so you won’t have to worry about next month’s rent, you can get on with living. All rents include full access to the university’s gym facilities.

Simon has led large multi-functional finance and accounting teams, delivered complex system implementations and provided financial analysis and advice on significant capital projects and business cases. Simon led the UK HE sector’s first ‘sustainable’ private placement debt raise and had a major role in taking the fourth largest UK HE endowment fossil fuel-free whilst at King’s.
A qualified Chartered Management Accountant, he has also studied leadership at Stanford University and at University College London’s IoE, where he gained his MBA in Higher Education Management. Simon also holds an MSc and a BSc from the University of Kent.
