Before joining Nottingham Business School, Ishan held academic positions at Lancaster University, University of Bath, and at Lund University. Additionally, he has been a Visiting Professor at many international prestigious institutions such as EMLYON, Kedge Business School, Lille University, and INSEEC in France, GDGWI and IIM-U in India, ISCTE in Portugal, and at the London School of Economics (LSE) in the UK.
She brings with her a wealth of experience, with seventeen years in the higher education sector, having taught at various universities in both the UK and Pakistan. Prior to joining NBS in 2021, Wajiha had valuable experience working at the University of Leicester and the University of Nottingham. During her tenure, she was actively involved in supervising research dissertations and teaching post-graduate courses focused on Management and Organisational Behaviour. Additionally, she was responsible for instructing Research Methods and the Business Analytics courses at the University of Nottingham, where she also offered hands-on training in various software tools, including SPSS, Stata, and NVivo, to undergraduate and post-graduate students.

My career has included leading teams within Sure Start and Short Breaks services for children with disabilities, teaching Early Years and Care in Further Education, and serving as a Children's Commissioner for Public Health and Social Care. These experiences have shaped my deep commitment to inclusion, equity, and the voice of the child.
In my current role as Principal Lecturer for Early Years and Childhood at Nottingham Trent University's Institute of Education, I lead across Learning and Development, Psychology, Special Educational Needs, Inclusion, and Early Childhood Studies. I am proud to be a member of the Birth to Five Matters Coalition, having chaired and co-authored the Equalities and Inclusion guidance within the non-statutory EYFS framework and more recently edited the Play Matters Guidance
Through our responsiveness to changing attitudes, and our commitment to changing lives, NTU exists to know and see, to learn and teach.
