Rhema University, Aba is an accredited private, Christian university based in the city of Aba in Abia State, Nigeria. Founded by the Living Word Ministries International and licensed by the National Universities Commission in 2009 is one of the few private universities in Abia State

Admission

Undergraduate Admission Requirement

A. General Requirements

• Minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects at O’Level (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
• Must include English Language and Mathematics.
• Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
• Minimum JAMB UTME score of 140 and above.
• Candidate must choose Rhema University as first or second choice in JAMB.
• Candidates who did not choose the university may apply through JAMB Change of Institution.
• Must participate in the University screening exercise.

B. Direct Entry Requirements

• Minimum of two A-Level passes in relevant subjects.
• Or possession of OND, NCE, or HND with at least Lower Credit.
• Must apply through JAMB Direct Entry.
• Transcripts and certificates must be sent to the Registrar.

Supporting Documents

1. JAMB UTME Result Slip.
2. O’Level Certificate or Statement of Result.
3. Birth Certificate or Age Declaration.
4. Certificate of State or Local Government Origin.
5. Passport Photographs (four copies).
6. Application Fee Payment Receipt.
7. Post-UTME Screening Slip.
8. Medical Fitness Certificate (after provisional admission).

Postgraduate Admission Requirments

A. Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

• Bachelor’s degree with at least Third Class or HND (Upper Credit).
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate required.

B. Master’s Degree (M.Sc., MBA, MA, M.Ed.)

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum of Second Class Lower Division in related field.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
• Academic transcript required from previous institution.

C. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

• Master’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
• Submission of research proposal in chosen field.
• Two academic reference letters.

• Completed online application form.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree certificates.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
• Academic transcript (sent directly to the Postgraduate School).
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Birth Certificate or Age Declaration.
• Local Government Indigene Certificate.
• Two academic reference letters.
• Research proposal (for Ph.D. applicants).
• Passport photographs.
• Payment receipt for application fee.

• Pay the application or screening fee online or through approved banks.
• Complete the online form with accurate details.
• Upload scanned copies of all required documents.
• Submit the application and print the Acknowledgment Slip.
• Attend the scheduled screening exercise or interview.

Postgraduate Application

• Access the Postgraduate School application portal.
• Register with valid email and contact details.
• Pay the non-refundable application fee online or via bank.
• Fill out and submit the online form with all supporting documents uploaded.
• Ensure that academic transcripts are sent to the Postgraduate Office.
• Wait for notification of screening or interview.
