Undergraduate Admission Requirement

We understand that sometimes barriers you can't control get in the way of academic achievement. You are more than just your grades. We'll consider your application as a whole, taking into account things like:

  • subjects studied at Level 3
  • your GCSEs (or equivalent) profile
  • non-academic achievements you mention in your personal statement
  • your references and motivation.

 

  • International students should check our country-specific pages for equivalents. If English is not your first language you will need to achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any section (or equivalent).


 

Postgraduate Admission Requirments

Students are normally required to achieve a 2:2 degree from a UK university, or equivalent, in a relevant subject.


International students should check our country-specific pages for equivalents. If English is not your first language you will need to achieve an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any section.

Cafeteria: The Refectory, situated in the heart of the campus, is the University's largest food outlet and is open seven days a week. Freshly cooked meals are served daily and there is a wide range of sandwiches, snacks, cold/hot drinks and a selection of essential grocery items.

    Jess is a BASES-accredited physiologist with a strong foundation in applied practice, having collaborated with elite athletes and prestigious organisations, including the RAF. Her academic journey culminated in a PhD in 2015, focusing on recovery from exercise-induced muscle damage.

    Since then, she has become a leading researcher in this field, contributing significantly to the understanding of physiological recovery processes.

    Returning from Canada, he once again worked in a parish but also served as a Reserve Chaplain in the Army.

    In 1992 he was appointed as Private Secretary to the Archbishop Michael Bowen, Archbishop of Southwark, holding this post for nine years before being appointed Vicar General of the Diocese.  In 2009 he was appointed Bishop of the Forces by Pope Benedict XVI. In March 2015 he was appointed by Pope Francis as Bishop of Arundel and Brighton, and was installed on 28th May 2015.

History

St Mary's has a long and distinguished history and a very modern outlook. With an original intake of just six students, St Mary's has now grown to around 6,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students across the four academic Schools. Established in 1850 and with a deep heritage in education, St Mary’s has a strong reputation for teaching excellence and a student-centred approach. On 23rd January 2014, St Mary's University College, Twickenham, was awarded full university title by the Privy Council and became St Mary's University, Twickenham.
