Undergraduate Admission Requirement
The minimum entry requirement into any of the underlisted undergraduate programmes is five (5) O’level credit passes including Mathematics and English in relevant subjects as indicated in the current UTME brochure, obtained at not more than two sittings, in any of the following examinations WASSCE, NECO or their equivalent, and must have a UTME score of 140.
It is mandatory that prospective students should have registered for, and passed the current UTME. Direct entry process for intending students with JUPEB are also available.

Admission Requirements for the PGD Programme
The criteria for admission into the Postgraduate Diploma programme is satisfaction of the matriculation requirements, which are:
Five credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at the ‘O’ level.
Relevant Bachelor’s Degrees not lower than third Class Division from recognised universities.
Bachelor’s Degrees with at least second-class lower Division may be considered.
Higher National Diploma at upper credit level.
Relevant professional qualifications, such as ICAN, ANAN, etc.
Masters Degrees
A first degree in the relevant subject, with a minimum of Second Class Honours of the University of Africa, Toru-Orua (UAT) or any other recognised University.
PhD.
An aggregate of 60% from a Master programme or 3.5 CGPA on a 5.0 scale will be admitted. A candidate with a lower score may enroll into the MPhil/PhD programme.

How To Apply For Admission
Application forms are obtainable from the Postgraduate School on payment of the appropriate fees to the University. It can also be obtained online from the Postgraduate School website or URL.
Guideline for Filling Application Form:
The applicants should provide all information sought in the form, as an application with incomplete information shall not be treated as valid.
Proposed course of study including area of specialization, if any, should be clearly stated.
Referees’ recommendations should be sent to the Secretary, Postgraduate School separately, or along with the application form, provided that they are sealed in separate envelopes by the referees.
Applicants should ensure that their official transcripts of academic records are forwarded to the Postgraduate School by their former Universities. Applications without official transcripts of academic record shall not be processed.
Duly completed application form should reach the Secretary, Postgraduate School, on or before the closing date stipulated for a particular year.
A candidate can apply for admission to only one degree programme, at any given time.
