My doctoral research used Complexity Thinking and social network analysis to analyse small-group learning. He is interested in researching complex challenges facing teachers and school leaders.
Jennie's background is in the area of the development of social cognition and has studied areas such as risk estimation, emotional understanding, subjective group dynamics, and social cognition from a developmental perspective. Recently, she has been working in the areas of intergenerational contact, parasocial relationships, neurodiversity, as well as student community and engagement. Jennie is part of the Psychological Sciences Research Group (PSRG).
