Undergraduate Admission Requirement
You must have sat the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) UTME, and obtained a minimum score (for many courses 140 marks) to be eligible for the post-UTME screening.
You must choose ZAMSUT as your first choice institution in your UTME registration.
You must have at least five (5) credit passes at O-Level (SSC/GCE/WAEC/NECO etc.), including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two (2) sittings.
You must complete the university’s Post-UTME / admission screening when announced.
Direct Entry (DE) Route Requirements
For candidates entering via Direct Entry (e.g., ND, NCE, or A-level equivalents):
Possess a relevant NCE, ND or equivalent qualification (often with a minimum grade such as Merit or Upper Credit) in a discipline related to your intended course.
Meet the O-Level credit pass requirement (as above).
Meet any extra subject-combination requirements for the specific course

Original and duplicate copy of your Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Admission Letter (colour print).
Your JAMB original result slip.
Evidence of admission/payment of acceptance fee (for example, Remita receipt) and other admission fees.
Original O-Level result certificate (e.g., WAEC/NECO) plus photocopies.
First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) and Testimonial.
Birth certificate or Declaration of Age.
Letter of Indigene/State of Origin/Local Government Area certificate (for relevant applicants).
A completed biodata form (or candidate’s personal data form) as required by the University.
For Direct Entry (DE) applicants: A-level certificate or equivalent
Postgraduate Admission Requirments
Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
Minimum CGPA requirement: At least 2.50 (on a 5-point scale) for many postgraduate applicants.
