From the impressive nature that surrounds it to its superior teaching quality, the University of Hearst has remarkable characteristics rarely seen elsewhere. We are the University of the North, whose vast territory in the heart of the boreal forest is a change of scenery in itself! Discovering it is an inexhaustible source of surprises and pleasure.
We are the university that speaks French, thinks in French, and understands all the accents of the Francophonie. Our openness to the world fosters an inclusive and safe environment where everyone feels welcome. We are proud of our French roots and we work to promote our language.
We are the university that is reimagining university life by innovating in its teaching methods. Our block course format fosters student success, allowing them to acquire deeper knowledge one course at a time. Small class sizes, close supervision, and experiential learning support skills development. We train people who think, question, rethink, act, and innovate!
The UdeH Student Association brings student life to life on our campuses. Participating in the various activities it organizes enriches a student's university experience and their personal and academic journey. Have a question or activity ideas? Don't hesitate to contact the association members on your campus.
