- Place of Worship: The main campus in Pointe-de-l'Église is located in Baie Sainte-Marie, in the heart of Nova Scotia's largest Acadian region. Holding a doctorate in education from the University of Moncton and specializing in the vitality of minority language communities, Mr. Deveau began his career in 1992 as a science and mathematics teacher at Clare High School before pursuing doctoral studies at the University of Moncton in 2000. ... read morete on Linguistic Minorities from 2002 to 2013. He joined Université Sainte-Anne in 2004 as a professor in the Department of Education. His career took an administrative turn when he was appointed Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs and Research in 2011, a position he held until 2021, subsequently expanding his responsibilities to become the research and entrepreneurship infrastructure development officer at Université Sainte-Anne. Since 2023, Mr. Deveau has been serving as the general manager of the Nova Scotia Economic Development Council.

Martine Béland, Ph.D., is Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs and Research and Associate Professor at Université Sainte-Anne. Her research lies at the intersection of German philosophy, aesthetics, and ... read moreliterature. She is particularly interested in reception and interpretation theories. A specialist in the work of Nietzsche, she has published numerous books, articles, translations, and encyclopedic contributions.
In addition to her responsibilities at Sainte-Anne, Martine Béland chairs the Scientific Council of the Interdisciplinary Centre for German Studies and Research (CIERA, Paris) and sits on the Board of Directors of the Federation of Francophone and Acadian Communities of Canada (FCFA). She is also an associate professor in the Department of Philosophy at Saint Mary's University (Halifax) and a member of the editorial board of the literary journal L'Inconvénient.

Originally from Cameroon, Ms. Nankoua holds two postgraduate degrees from Brazil. After immigrating to Canada in 2008, Ms. Nankoua enriched her professional experience by working for seven years at the Quebec Ministry of Health and Social Services in Montreal. During this time, she also completed a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in organizational development at Laval University.

A graduate in business administration (Sainte-Anne), she worked at the Department of Canadian Heritage and led several organizations focused on cultural and Francophone vitality, where she spearheaded projects involving reorganization, strategic development, and the modernization of practices.
Originally from Baie-Sainte-Marie, where she has returned after a few years in Louisiana, she is driven by a desire to actively contribute to her home community. Known for her organizational skills, her people-centered approach to leadership, and her ability to move projects forward during times of change, she is pleased to join the Sainte-Anne team as Registrar to support student success and the University's mission and reputation.

- Sainte-Anne University was founded on September 1 , 1890 by Father Gustave Blanche and the fathers of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary, known as the Eudists.
- On April 30, 1892, under a provincial law, it was incorporated and became a university, with all the rights and privileges attached to that title.
- In 1971, the management of the University was entrusted to a secular administration.
- In 1988, the Collège de l'Acadie was founded with the mission of offering professional and technical programs in the Acadian regions of Nova Scotia.
