General Admission Requirements
Access to university studies is regulated by law. According to the Higher Education Act of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, you need a so-called university entrance qualification to be able to take up a bachelor's or master's degree programme. If necessary, further admission requirements have to be fulfilled, which they would like to inform you about in the further course.
According to the currently valid enrollment regulations of Worms University, applicants who have acquired their university entrance qualification abroad must prove that they have the German language skills required for their studies in accordance with the Framework Regulations on German Language Examinations for Studies at German Universities (RO-DT) of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) and the Conference of Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK) in their currently valid version. Otherwise, your application cannot be considered for the selection process.
Further information can be also found by the Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienst/ DAAD
If applying for an English-language degree programme, proof of German language proficiency is not required.
Further subject-specific admission requirements
Some degree programs have subject-specific entry requirements in addition to the general entry requirements listed on this page: For example, you may be required to have knowledge of a foreign language at a certain level, an internship, or to answer a questionnaire. If you are interested in a dual study programme, a completed training or internship contract with a cooperating company of UAS Worms is usually an admission requirement.
Listing all the admission requirements for each degree programme would go beyond the scope of the website. When you look at their range of courses, simply check whether there are any further subject-specific entry requirements in addition to the general entry requirements mentioned above.
Anyone wishing to apply for a master's degree must be able to prove that they have completed a bachelor's degree in addition to their university entrance qualification. The content of the bachelor's degree must match the master's degree in which you are interested. Further information on this can be found on the pages of the corresponding Master's programs.
