  • €500 DIT service fee per semester for enrolled students (the academic year consists of two semesters)

Undergraduate Admission Requirement

General Admission Requirements:

If you are interested in studying at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology as an international bachelor student, you need a ‘’university entrance qualification’’ as one of the admission requirements. This is your school-leaving certificate, which qualifies you to study bachelor's programmes at German universities.

To find out whether your school-leaving certificate meets the requirements for the degree programs at our university, please use the DAAD Database on admission requirements.  The other option to check your eligibility is through the Anabin Website. On this website, you can specify your country, certificate, school or university to check whether you will need to fulfill any further requirements. Please note that the website is unfortunately only available in German.

If your qualification does not provide you with application eligibility for our university, you have these options:

  • One year of study at an internationally recognized university in your country (please note that the duration of studies can vary depending on in which country you attained your certificate).
  • One year of study at Studienkolleg in Germany (in some cases, the certificate is only valid in the specific federal states). The Studienkolleg for universities of applied sciences in Bavaria is located in Coburg. You can find more information: Studienkolleg Coburg
  • One year foundation study in the International Foundation Program at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria (FHOÖ - Austria). This university is an official cooperation partner of DIT.

How To Apply For Admission

Apply online

You have decided on a degree program and the application period has started? Don't delay - applications are only accepted during the application period listed above!

To apply, follow the steps below:

1. Register on the Primuss portal

  • Registration is only possible with one valid e-mail address. Multiple registrations with different e-mail addresses are not accepted.

2. Select the degree programme

3. Enter your personal data, details of previous education and, if applicable, previous studies into the system. If you are applying for a bachelor's programme

4. Upload the following documents

  • University entrance qualification
  • Copy of your identity card
  • Curriculum vitae
  • Proof of language proficiency, if applicable
  • Certificate of exmatriculation, if you have already studied
  • Only for applicants to a joint degree program or a degree program with in-depth practical experience: contract with a company
  • For Master's degree applicants only: bachelor's degree certificate and grade sheet
  • Proof of payment of the application fee, if applicable

The complete list of documents will be available in the Primuss Portal during the application period. The list will be generated individually depending on the information entered by you and the program you are selecting.

5. Submit the application and regularly check the application status in Primuss and correct the uploaded documents if necessary

6. You will receive a letter of acceptance or rejection
